ウェストヴィル流のパット・メセニー・トリビュート・モデル！

偉大なるギタリスト、パット・メセニー氏へのトリビュート・モデルとして企画/デザインされた16インチ幅ボディのアーチトップ、「ユニティ」。こちらはそのユニティをベースにUSA Kent ArmstrongのアルニコIIIハムバッカーと標準仕様のウッドパーツを組み込んだ、スタンダード・バージョンです。
削り出し単板のスプルース・トップ、フィギュアド木目の美しい単板ハードメイプル・サイド、そして同じくフィギュアド・ハードメイプルを用いて特注されたプライウッド・のバックで組み上げられたボディは、VanguardシリーズやSolarシリーズでお馴染みのアシメトリックなボディエンド形状を採用。対してシメトリック形状のヘッドストックは、見る角度によって様々に表情を変える専用デザイン。指板は高音弦部分が22フレットまで延長され、深めのシングル・カッタウェイはハイフレットまで快適なアクセスを約束します。

※ボディやネック、指板材の削り出しの工程で、予期せぬ木目等が表面に露出する場合がございます。天然木の性質上やむを得ませんので、こうした点もその楽器の個性としてご理解を頂ければと思います。The Westville “Unity” is the newest model of our “Tribute Series” guitars and was inspired by the great guitarist Pat Metheny. It is a 16” fully hollow arch top guitar with a solid carved Sitka Spruce top and solid figured hard maple sides. Its back is made of a special figured hard maple laminate.

Westville’s owner and designer Masaki Nishimura has been deeply influenced by the work and music of Pat ever since he was a student and in 2016 after meeting Metheny in person at the Blue Note Jazz Club in Tokyo Japan, he started work on the “Unity” model with close input from Pat himself.

Masaki Nishimura designed the Westville “Unity” with deep respect for the great tradition of the Gibson ES series instruments while capturing the unique soul, spirit, and musical fingerprint of the great Pat Metheny in this unique and truly mesmerizing instrument. Its clear and balanced sound combined with its harmonically rich and smooth yet strong projection make this guitar truly sing!
